First of its Kind Collaboration

One of the Economic Development Department’s core services is assisting businesses to find the right real estate for their investment project. Looking for ways to offer businesses better customer experience, the City partnered with the Realtors® Association of Edmonton to create a digital tool featuring available commercial land for sale or lease in Fort Saskatchewan.

“As a Commercial REALTOR® in Fort Saskatchewan, I am very impressed with the content provided on this site. Any business owner or entrepreneur looking to start, locate or expand their business can find all the information they need in a one-stop-shop that is, “ said Jennifer Lucas, Chair-Elect of the Realtors® Association of Edmonton. “I am equally proud of my hometown for being the first of this type of collaboration between REALTORS® Association of Edmonton and a municipality. This type of forward-thinking by the Economic Development Department is a wonderful example of how partnerships can be created between the Real Estate Community and a third-party provider to provide exceptional content for the consumer. I hope more partnerships arise out of this in the future.”

Using these tools alongside relevant data, municipal support for businesses, target sectors, reports and studies, and information on taxes, education, arts and culture, cost of living, healthcare and more, the City is digitally prepared to attract the best and brightest business minds and entrepreneurs to its growing municipality.
